Dave Stockton is considered one of the legends of golf. He captained the U.S. Ryder Cup team at Kiawah Island, South Carolina in 1991. Additionally, he was a member of 2 other Ryder Cup teams and two World Cup teams. Currently he is over the 12 million dollar mark in career earnings. A Professional since 1964 and known since the 1970's as the "king of corporate outings" due to 90 corporate and motivational days per year, his career accomplishments include 5 major championships (2 PGA Championships, 1996 Senior Open & 2 Senior Player Championships), 11 tournament victories on the PGA Tour and 14 wins on the Senior PGA Tour.
Dave was born and raised in the San Bernardino area of Southern California and is a graduate of Pacific High School. He later graduated from U.S.C. with a business degree. He then met and married Redlands native and former Miss Redlands, National Orange Show and Maid of California beauty queen , Catherine Hales.
